密漁船団のその後 Subsequent poaching fleet
The Chinese poaching fleet still appears in the Bonin Islands waters….
One Chinese poaching ship was seized by the Japanese Coast Guard as a failure to comply with an order to stop their ship separate braking instruction inside the exclusive economic zone off the coast of Chichi-jima yesterday. The Chinese captain was arrested under a Fisheries Act Violation (on-site inspection repellent) suspicion. Even while the patrol boat brought the poaching ship to Chichi-jima, we could still see a lot of of poaching ship lights off the coast from the lookout.
Patrol vessel of the Japanese Coast Guard has been working hard, but the number of poaching ships are too many.
City council works hard to solve this problem. This issue has been reported in the mass media more than before. And It has come to be known by the public.
But nothing will be solved, if the government does not address this problem!
The Japanese government should think of a solution for this important problem right away!
Already more than two months has passed since the poaching fleet was witnessed in August. The poaching fleet has been illegally taking red coral as if they owned the Bonin Islands waters already.
The Red corals that nature has created over the years will be uprooted in this situation and the seabed and marine ecosystems of the Bonin Islands waters will be destroyed.
There is an impact on tourism and fishing, the main industries of the Bonin Islands. And islanders are very anxious.
We all want that Japan government takes measures right away to reclaim the peaceful daily life of the island of the World Natural Heritage.
中国密漁船団は未だに小笠原諸島の海に出没しています。。。。
昨日、海上保安庁の巡視船が父島沖の排他的経済水域で停船命令に従わなかったとして中国漁船を摘発し、中国人船長を漁業法違反（立ち入り検査忌避）容疑で現行犯逮捕しました。巡視船がその密漁船を父島まで連れて来ている間にも、展望台からは沖にいくつもの密漁船の明かりが見えています。
海上保安庁の巡視船が頑張ってくれていますが、密漁船の数が余りにも多すぎます。
島の議員さんも各方面に精力的に働きかけ、マスメディアではこの問題について報道されるようになり、多くの人に周知されるようになって来ましたが、
国が動いて対策を講じてくれないことには抜本的な解決には至りません！
８月に密漁船団が目撃されてから早２ヶ月以上も経っていますが、密漁船団はまだ小笠原諸島の海で我が物顔で赤サンゴの違法操業を繰り返しています。
このままでは自然が長い年月をかけて作り上げた赤サンゴは本当に根こそぎ盗られてしまい、海底が破壊され海の生態系も打撃を受けてしまいます。
島民の不安や小笠原の主要産業である漁業や観光業への影響も出ているので、政府が一刻も早く対策を打ち世界自然遺産の島の平和な日常を取り戻して欲しいものです。
