”Salvia-Maru" came to Chichijima island for the first time

There was a quiet time on the island for three weeks when the liner ”Ogasawara-Maru" docked in January until this year.
But from next year, Large Passenger Ship ”Salvia-Maru" which is running between Tokyo and the Izu seven islands will runs for Ogasawara bound as an alternative ship during the period when the “Ogasawara-Maru” docked. And the ”Salvia-Maru" came to Chichijima island for the first time on a test voyage.

これまでは「おがさわら丸」がドック入りする１月から２月にかけて３週間の間、島には定期船が来ず静かな時間が流れていましたが、来年からは東京と伊豆七島を結ぶ「さるびあ丸」が「おがさわら丸」がドック入りする期間中に代替船として小笠原航路を運航することになり、試験航海で初めて父島にやって来ました。
