亜熱帯の島、小笠原には春に内地（本土）のお花見で愛でる桜のソメイヨシノはありません。代わりに冬に咲く寒緋桜（別名：緋寒桜）があり、いま満開を迎えています。
そして花の蜜を求めてミツバチやメジロがやってきます。

On the subtropical island of Ogasawara, there are no Somei Yoshino cherry blossoms that can be admired during Hanami (cherry blossom viewing) on the mainland of Japan in spring.
There is Taiwan cherry which blooms in winter instead of Somei Yoshino on the island and it’s in full bloom now.
Honeybee and the Japanese white-eye comes in search of nectar from the flowers.
